 But is in NO COMPARISON to my sister-in law's finish....ABSOLUTELY STUNNING.  6+ YEARS IN THE MAKING!!! I've been staring at it all morning.  ...

As creepy as it is.... my favorite character is the Wicked Witch....call me morose....I love this....LOVE LOVE LOVE her!!    The shoe is my favorite!  Moving right along with the inspiration of Mirabilia's Sabrina that my sister-in-law has done flawlessly.  She's still a WIP in my stash, but she's going to get finished soon!

I've been busy the past 6 years........

I may have been on hiatus from blogging.....chaos ensued....but I never stopped stitching!

Upon many requests from my two fans (sic) I will update my progress.......

This is "Sabrina" from Mirabilia...the latest and (I think) the GREATEST....My SIL found the first pic online and emailed me...I instantly fell in love.  This progress was done during the last two huge storms we had....not bad for two weeks of STRAIGHT stitching....

Here is my progress on the Lizzie Kate Flip-its....It will hang in our hall and we will select one each day when we walk out the door.....just a bit of inspiration

This is my "Tiens Donc!".....I Loved the cow hanging her spots out with her socks.....the BEST part of this is the slippers....I should throw a few curlers in her hair!

Here is Lizzie Kate ABC Lessons....I went off the beaten path ans had the kids pick the colors for each lesson...all done in Sampler Thread with some DMC sprinkled in...

Here's the newest member of the family's little birth announcement ...I will make it into a pillow....probably not until Genevieve is in college

Making up for lost TIME

In the words of the infamous Spinster Stitcher...FEE-NEE...Here is my gift to my sister-in-law and the new "Baby Mo"....I loved this from the day I saw it.... .....Snips and snails......here's for "Baby-Mo"'s drool....anything else that makes its way out of his mouth!

Friendship sampler... So much to catch up on......I have been in a whirlwind since the end of June. Mother-in-law gravely ill and passed away on 9/9/09....how ironic of such a date??

I was basically a single parent to three rugrats for three months...I snuck in my stitching but not much of anything else.

I work in healthcare (part-time) and on top of it all they moved our offices in August....I hate cleaning up at home...can you imagine 12 years of CRAP??? I'm a stitcher...can you say STASH...I stash EVERYTHING and parting was such sweet sorrow...

I cannot put this down...my fingers are sore, my eyes bleary....I have to get it done and move onto my LJP floral collage that I am dying to do..... Not bad for one day's work...I started this yesterday at 10 am....and this was taken this morning...... HMMMMMM I feel a new obsession coming on......

WTF?!?!?!

OK I haven't posted in three weeks and tonight I post three in a row??? I need help...I have just joined a new Round Robin with a "garden" theme...animals, tools, flowers...whatever but with a garden theme... H E L P anybody have any ideas? One lady is doing Beatrix Potter in teh garden...I have a few patterns that fit... i L O V E that idea...but it's taken! Can anyone, someone suggest anything????

BACK FROM THE DEAD

OMG...I really never knew what people were talking about when they said "Sometimes life just gets in the way...."...I would turn up my nose...this IS life....well.....life had gotten in my way the past few weeks.....OMG...we went away for Memorial Day....let me tell you three little kids at an amusement park....I can sleep for a week....coming off the heels of planning the Communion, Frank's Birthday.....this is the last week of school for my kids...teacher gifts, class parties...OMG NOOOOOOOOOOO Todd and I were married 7 years before we had our first child...when we would leave a family gathering, I would just tell him..."no radio on the ride home...can't we just sit in silence?"....I never EVER remember those days...we are now the cause of silent car rides home..... I'm working diligently on my POOH......C'mon 6/22/09....we find out the sex...I initially thought boy...but it's a girl...I can feel it...gotta get out the pink patterns...we'll see I'm getting tired of referring to the kid as "Baby Mo".... BTW...Coni, I am embroidering that (Baby Mo) on the onesie to help hide the off-centeredness........ Here's my Vervaco... I am in love with these patterns...the "sepia" tones, the simplicity....I cannot wait to finish this.....

OK I finally have gotten to start my Laura J Perin design. It's a freebie on the site and I thought I'd start with it....all of the supplies are courtesy of miss Spinster Stitcher herself ( I have properly thanked as of yet...but I am in the process).....I cannot believe that I am stitching with supplies from her...they are absolutely gorgeous colors....this is how far I have gotten...I had to rip out three different times .....but once I got the reading of the pattern down....there was no stopping me!! What do you think so far? This is my two year old that has been "helping" me stitch....I put in in from the bottom, she pulls the needle thru.....look at those sausage link fingers!!!!!! She's my beauty girl, alright...but nap time could not have come sooner.....

I don't think I have ever posted a pic of the family....I have a website of the kids...and I leave all of my stitchy stuff for here...
