DING...DING...Round THREE

OK....I did this BEFORE I had gotten anybody's opinion...other than it's too light....I like the blue, it picks up the irredescence in the heart....I am not too crazy about the heart above...
FOR THE LOVE OF GOD.....I think I just need to follow the pattern and use the DMC....
NO, I had to get "fancy" and try to pick my own colors....I can tell why I am not an artist, can you??
IT STAYS AS IS
Anybody can do whatever they want as far as colors...I still don't like the original pattern...I like the sampler threads, the variegatged threads......C'est la vie
Consider it D O N E

Opinions PLEEEASE!

OK
Here is my heart for the RR...I stitched my name and city/state in a gorgeous silver variegated thread....It looks OKAY
What do you think??? too light???? I like it....it's done with one thread, over two....It's not as bad from a bit back....step away about 2 feet and it looks so much better...the pics may be too close for an objective view, or maybe I'm hoping anyone says that it looks okay.......
I cannot stand to do more frogging....I CAN"T STAND IT........

Round and Round and Round and Round.......RR

This is my heart for the RR...it's stitched in Sampler threads........MISCOUNTED...yep...I have to frog the WHOLE THING...needless to say, it's stitched over 2 on 40 count....40 COUNT....it stinks! I think I need new glasses So I decided to try it on 28 ct over 2 threads....this looks like my 8 year old did it...it's too big! SOOOOO I have to find the happy medium...

Movin' on with crabbiness

Raise the Roof's "Crabby all year" has been my favorite thus far...I am working backwards because I started bottom up an don't want to run the risk of MISOUNTING...what I do very often....I went to LNS and got all of the buttons...$56.10!!!!OMG...I almost fainted! Thank goodness it was the 20% off sale...but still...$40 in buttons alone...who would have thunk it!

BOO WAH- ONE DAY

Yep,,,I completed it! All in one day..."Dare to Color"...it will be my mantra...C'st ma vie pour l'instant ( my life for now)...lest I digress I LOVE IT....I've never been the "black sheep", never the "rebel"...always slow and steady...always completed what I started...never quit a job or school or really anything....now circumstances may have arisen that side tracked me, but never up and quit anything.....I always joke that if I could do it all over again, I would change EVERYTHINg...every last detail....just not my stitching.....

Dressed to Impress

We have a dress emerging...the shading is fabulous...I cannot wait to complete this... Frank thinks this is he and I...I used to dance with him in the kitchen every morning like this to Monica's "Angel of Mine" Everytime I work on it, he says "that me?"....Yes, Bubbie....that you

Round Robin

Here is the Pattern for the RR that I will be starting TODAY!...first mailing is at the end of February...I pulled the DMC..it's way too dreary...I think I am going to request that the girls do whatever they want ...DMC, Sampler...something more cheery.... I cannot wait to get it back!

shopping without a limit...that's how to do it....

Well, we went to the LNS on Sunday for the annual "Superbowl Sale"....I'll talk more about the "sale" later.....but I got lots of good stuff....with my GIFT CERTIFICATES....It was fun just to get what I wanted without worrying about a budget....that's the way to shop! I picked up black Fabric for my Mystic stitch...All Hallows Eve...It reminds me so much of the kids...everyone (including Rachel) thinks its a bit creepy but I was immediately drawn to it...and Lord knows when that happens it becomes a "must-have"

Got some supplies I needed...the magnets are from the pattern holder that went missing DAY 1 I need to check and see if they're stuck on the swing set out back.....
Got more towels...ON SALE...thought they'd be good for gifts...I already have the book
now I can start this....it's adorable and I love the gingham
I've bee eyeing this series for a while...something about these birds reminds me of the ones I feed daily out back (the ones at my house look like rats with wings...but they are waiting for me every morning)
