We are having a new baby arriving to the family in Nov 09....We are so excited, it will be the first niece/nephew on my husband's side and to top it off...my SIL is my BFF and is named Danielle too!!! Who would ever think that two brothers would marry two hot chicks named "Danielle" what are the odds? Needless to say...I am Danielle I (married 16 years) and she's Danielle Marie (married 2).... Anywhoo....my mind is racing and I must have 8 projects in "que" for this baby!!!! This little bib worked up in one day....I am half-way done the backstitching and I am doing the other pooh characters with waste canvas on onesies.......I LOVE IT....and Danielle is a pooh fanatic, so its all good..... The second shot is a Vervaco that I fell in love with.....maybe now we can start seeing the pattern better.....I showed the hubby and got, "I don't know....is it mountains?"...oh for the love of God...are they all really that blind???????

I have been walking around in circles for about a week.....I received the nicest package from Miss Spinster Stitcher, herself, Coni, with things I never Ever EVER expected!...I had elicited some help from her...(you gotta check out her work...it's magnificent....) I thought instructions, maybe a tutorial when she asked for my email and snail mail....CHECK IT OUT
Now, don't get me wrong...I have received surprises in the past, but this caught me so off guard....All of this, THIS was accompanied by a step by step instruction that you couldn't even pay to get!!!! (I took a class at Michaels on knitting and wound up leaving with less knowledge that going in!)
What an awesome RAOK! Coni, you made my week...no, maybe year.....your kindness will never be forgotten.....
Now my husband thinks I'm nuts...he lost his side of the bed to the 'priority mail' box that was full of these goodies...it was tucked under the covers with me because I didn't want to put it down! I couldn't run the risk of ANYONE touching ANYTHING without my supervision...
.....my new scissor fob has been in my pocket....I can't keep it on my scissors that are always squirreled away in my bag from 2, 4 and 8 year olds.....I keep it with me and put on when they finally go to sleep. IT is beautiful!
The colors are vibrant and gorgeous and all different threads that our LNS doesn't even carry......I look at them, feel them and carefully zip them back into the great bag they came in...sometimes I want to roll all over them on the bed...that's how joyful they are!
I sometimes stand in the corner mumbling that I can't believe that she took the time to help a girl out with her LJP endeavors....
I have been looking at patterns and I know exactly what I will be starting with.....
Coni, once again a great big MUAH!
....thanks a million.....
I thought I'd never fit into the stitching community online....today I feel like President and CEO.....

I found these online during my travels...they were patterns with cutsie pics that I didn't like.....
I thought I would throw them into the caption maker on crosstitch.com.......not bad, huh?
My Rachel was tickled pink......."you're not really a witch , mom"....I would hope not!~
I want to find some cute buttons and maybe throw a few on.....

What it SHOULD look like...........
WHAT It DOES look like
I purchased a Laura J Perin Design named "Flying Geese".....I HATE IT!!!!
The colors were different that came in the package than the pic on the front. (so much for purchasing on ebay) but my LNS doesn't carry them and I couldn't find any online that came with the threads......I could only find 14ct PLASTIC meshy stuff at Michaels.....So far I'm 0 for 3 which is a .000 batting average
I actually liked these colors better...until now I don't think I'm doing it correctly....you can see the canvas through the navy blue (which looks black) and I think I'm off by one......Also the pattern isn't "popping" out.....BLEECH
Coni....oohhh CONI (the Spinster Stitcher, herself)
If you are reading......how do you do your so beautifully???? How are yours masterfully placed and the colors completely fill the areas? As I stated before.....I can only aspire.....
