Actually, when I lived in New Orleans, there was a lady who did keep her Christmas tree up all hear, changing out the decorations for the month. Just like your Easter egg tree, she also did a mardi gras tree, a patriotic tree, a Valentine's Day tree, St. Pat's tree...well, you get the idea.
